From Schools & Administrators

• Name, job title, and contact details (email, phone number)
• School name, address, and registration details
• Login credentials (username and encrypted password)
• Billing and payment information

From Teachers

• Full name, email address, and staff ID
• Class assignments, attendance records, and assessment data entered into the platform

From Students

• Full name, date of birth, and student ID (provided by the school)
• Academic performance data, attendance records, and participation metrics
• Device usage data where applicable (AR features)

From Parents / Guardians

• Name, email address, and contact number
• Communication preferences

Automatically Collected Data

• IP address, browser type, and operating system
• Pages visited, session duration, and click data

3. Purpose of Collection and Use

We collect and use personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and improve the TedQu platform
• To manage school accounts, user access, and subscription billing
• To generate academic reports, progress dashboards, and attendance summaries

We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data with:

• Schools and authorised staff — within the scope of the contracted service

Any third-party data processor engaged by us is contractually bound to protect personal data to standards consistent with the PDPA.

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore (e.g., to cloud servers located in Australia or the US), we take steps to ensure the receiving organisation provides a comparable level of data protection, consistent with the PDPA's transfer limitation obligations.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Upon termination of a school's subscription, school and student data will be retained for a period of 90 days before secure deletion, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• AES-256 encryption for data at rest
• Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only
• Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing

TedQu serves students as young as primary school age. Student data is provided and managed by the school under an institutional agreement. Schools are responsible for obtaining appropriate consents from parents or guardians as required by applicable law. We do not directly collect personal data from students without school authorisation.
